A man who was caught selling a Viagra-like drug on the streets of Birmingham is facing a new charge of selling it illegally.
Neil plunger, 42, who was caught selling a generic Viagra-like drug on the streets of Birmingham, was found guilty of possession with intent to sell under the trade name VIAGRA. He is being held at Birmingham Crown Court on Friday.
The court heard he was working for a group of drug wholesalers selling a cheaper version of the impotence drug Viagra after he was told to take the pills on a ‘date night’. The pills were to be sold in a Boots shop at 2pm on Sunday.
Mr plunger was arrested at the shop and was later raided by swoop and seizure.
After the raid, Mr plunger was found to have the prescription for the drug, while his identity has not been revealed.
The court heard: "A prescription is required to be prescribed for the use of any person to sell or supply the medicine."
